Each Thursday night from July 11-August 15, Rochester’s Party in the Park concert series presents a wide range of music including blues, funk, rock, reggae, and classic rock attracting devoted music fans and families to come out and enjoy the beautiful summer season.

Now in its 27th year, the 2024 Party in the Park concert series is being held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park and is hosted by the City of Rochester.

Start Making Sense

On August 1, Talking Heads tribute band, Start Making Sense, will performing at the Party in the Park. Fronted by the super talented Jon Braun, Start Making Sense, a 7-piece powerhouse, brings their high energy and flawless renditions of Talking Heads to the crowd, setting the stage for an immersive and fun set!

Into the Now

Also performing will be Into the Now, Rochester’s best-known psychedelic jam band. Into the Now masterfully covers tunes by the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, The Doors and many more timeless favorites, and is sure to inspire dancing and a great time had by all.
