How do you like your waffles? Savory or sweet? With ice cream, fried chicken, topped with bacon, made with bacon? All ways, waffles are better with beer. Rochester A-List and local food blogger Sip and Savour Rochester have teamed up to host another unique tasting event. We’re pairing waffles with craft beer from Genesee Brewing Company at the Brew House Outdoor Beer Garden, with an optional Saturday Morning Outdoor Bootcamp in High Falls.
Rochester chefs will compete for best waffle beer pairing and you are the judge! The People’s Choice Winner will receive a charitable donation to The Fruit Belt Project, a local charity making our city more beautiful with art and community.
Tickets are $25-$35 and include a flight of 5 craft beers paired with tastings from our waffle chefs. The event will take place at the Genesee Brewhouse outdoor Beer Garden. Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out quickly.
The Waffles: 5 local restaurant chefs will be creating waffle dishes to pair with a Genesee Beer. Delicious waffle creations from Simply Crepes, Brown Hound Downtown, Joe Bean Coffee Roasters, Label 7 Napa Eatery, and Boxcar Donuts.

About the Bootcamp:
Taught by local fitness expert Gustavo Getty-Lee Zajia, owner of FIT 1. Fit 1 offers group exercise classes at area parks and other unique areas. Classes engage major muscle groups to safely improve core strength, coordination & cardiovascular health, simply & effectively. Class begins at 9:45 am and is 1 hour long. Bring water and a towel or yoga mat. Explore high falls using the city as your gym.
