The largest free festival of its kind in North America, spring in Upstate NY is welcomed with ten incredible days and nights of non-stop festivities. The free 10 day experience takes place each year in the 155-acre Highland Park drawing up to 500,000 people each May to view more than 200 varieties of lilacs and other flowers, trees and shrubs. Highlights of the festival include the Lilac Parade, a set of 5- and 10-kilometer runs and a wide variety of vendors and live performances.
