34th Annual Chocolate Ball | Rochester A-List

A delicious Rochester gala event! Guests samples award-winning chocolate cakes, enjoy a gourmet dinner, signature cocktails, and dance the night away. Proceeds from Chocolate Ball fund epilepsy programs and services such as support groups, education, youth conferences and the only week-long overnight camp in New York State for kids with epilepsy.

The highlight of the event is the Chefs Cake Competition. Pastry Chefs from the region create elaborate chocolate cakes inspired by the theme of the event, which this year is the depths of the ocean and marine life. Six awards are presented to the chefs: Best Taste with 1st place and Runner Up, Best Showpiece with 1st place and Runner Up, The Grand Prize and The People’s Choice Award.

Newcomers and long-time participants are featured in the Chocolate Ball 2020 competition, including chefs from Ma Fille (Rochester), Something Delicious (Rochester), The Cake Place (Avon), Get Caked (Rochester), Red Horse Bakery (Rochester), Caramel Bakery and Bar (Rochester), Half Moon Bakery & Bistro (Rochester), and Jamie’s Dream ((Rochester).
