It’s the 121st anniversary of the largest free festival of its kind in North America! Spring in Upstate NY is welcomed with ten incredible days and nights of non-stop festivities. The 10 day experience takes place each year in the 155-acre Highland Park drawing up to 500,000 people each May to view more than 200 varieties of lilacs and other flowers, trees and shrubs. Upcoming Dates for festival highlights: May 10 – Opening Ceremony (10 am), festival grounds open (10:30 am through 8:30 pm),May 11, 12, 18, 19 – Art in the Park (10 am – 6 pm Saturdays, 10 am- 5 pm Sundays) , May 11 – Lilac Parade (commences at 10:30 am at Science Prkwy), May 14 – Seniors Day, May 19 – 45th Annual Lilac Run 5K/10K, and Donut Dash.
