Each Thursday night from July 11-August 15, Rochester’s Party in the Park concert series presents a wide range of music including blues, funk, rock, reggae, and classic rock attracting devoted music fans and families to come out and enjoy the beautiful summer season. Now in its 27th year, the 2024 Party in the Park concert series is being held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park and is hosted by the City of Rochester

The North Mississippi Allstars

The 2024 concert series kicks off this year with return of the North Mississippi Allstars. After 25 years, twelve albums, four GRAMMY® Award nominations, and sold out shows everywhere, North Mississippi Allstars, formed by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson in 1996, have shifted their lineups over the years and are joined in this year’s concert series by Jesse Williams on bass and Lamar Williams, JR. on vocals.

The Record Company

Also performing at the Party in the Park on July 11th are the LA-based, GRAMMY®Award- nominated trio The Record Company, featuring Chris Vos [guitar, lead vocals, harmonica], Alex Stiff [bass, backing vocals], and Marc Cazorla [drums, backing vocals]. Melodic bluesy guitar leads influenced heavily by John Lee Hooker, tight drum grooves, thick bass, and soulful lyrics.
