The 12th annual Rochester Real Beer Expo will be held on Saturday June 8th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a pre-event VIP/Preview hour at 5:00 PM. The event will be held on the concourse at the home of the Rochester Red Wings, Innovative Field. This year, the festival moves from its traditional location on Gregory Street to the baseball stadium concourse to allow for expanded brewery offerings and to provide covered areas in case of inclement weather. There is also ample seating and on-site parking, and a free shuttle bus from the South Wedge area to the venue. Attendees can also enjoy ballpark concessions.
Local business owners from the award-winning South Wedge neighborhood have joined forces through the Business Association of the South Wedge Area (BASWA) to bring you Rochester’s biggest and best beer festival. This year’s edition will feature 75+ breweries, cideries, kombucha producers, and other craft beverage makers, as well as non-alcoholic offerings. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment by Rochester’s finest live local musicians.
All of the proceeds from this event are rolled back into the neighborhood revitalization projects undertaken by BASWA, with projects that include public art, community events, improvements to street lighting and sidewalk furniture, public landscaping and parks maintenance.
