THE ADVENTURE

We’re taking the fun to one of Rochester’s hidden gems, Corbett’s Glen then heading to nearby Heroe’s Brewing for a soup and beer pairing. We’re teaming up with Hopemade Foods, one of  Rochester’s acclaimed artisan prepared food businesses that offers seasonal products cooked with, and by, Maureen Hope.  She’ll be pairing three soups with three 5 oz. pours of Heroes beer (swap cider, wine or non alcoholic beverage if you’re not a beer drinker). Due to changing tap lists, soups and beers will be released two weeks before the event. *If you have dietary restrictions, you can choose a large bowl of one of the soups by letting us know when soups are announced.

The hike/snowshoe/ski will be an hour with a mid-hike Sunna Cosmic Cherry Elixer wellness shot paired with a mini breath work session (try it thats what these events are all about). We’ll see rolling glacial moraines, serene wetlands, mixed woodlands, and abundant wildlife. We’ll follow the winding path of Allens Creek as it carves through glacial formations and cascades over several small but scenic waterfalls. In winter, Corbett’s Glen transforms into a magical escape, with snow-dusted landscapes and sparkling ice formations around the falls. It’s the perfect setting for winter hiking, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing.

This hike is rated intermediate with some steep spots. After the hike, we’ll head to the brewery for soup, beer and fun.

Dominic Piacentini of R4 Wellness and Consulting will guide us through a brief, optional creekside mindfulness session, focusing on intentional moments of breathwork and meditation. If you are new to these techniques, it’s a great chance to try something different and experience the benefits to your body and mind. You’re welcome to join in or just enjoy more moments in the park before we head to the brewery.

Integrated Health will be at the brewery. Treat yourself to a free ten min. stretch or massage! The first to purchase tickets will have first access to reserve limited stretch and massage times which will go fast. Adventure attendees will get a voucher for 30% off their first Stretch and Stability session at Integrated Health in Brighton.
