Thanks to @ROCCityChick for this great review from the Democrat and Chronicle:
Roc’ella, a funky music and fashion event inspired by the West Coast’s ever-popular Coachella celebration, debuted at College Town on Saturday. The happening was birthed through a collaboration between Heather Knowles, founder of Roc City Creative, and Amy Riposo, founder of Rochester A-List, both visionaries in the area of event planning and management. Riposo described Roc’ella as a “boho-style festival where music, fashion and art are incorporated into one event.”
College Town, widely hailed as one of Rochester’s leading hot spots, was specifically chosen as the hosting ground for this year’s event. “The retail end of College Town is not as developed as the other areas, particularly food, so we wanted to invite some of the boutiques here to have a presence and provide a pop-up market place so people could shop and get to know them,” shared Riposo.
