Finger Lakes Super Moon Paddle with Strawberry Tasting Experience and Live Music – Canadice Lake

THE ADVENTURE

Come out and join us for an almost full moon paddle during the strawberry moon on Canadice Lake. Rent a kayak, canoe or SUP or bring your own. Canadice Lake Outfitters will be shuttling boats to/from our launch site. We will paddle some at dusk and then again when it gets dark before the moon rises over the eastern hill. Removed from the lights of the city, we’ll paddle under the the magnificent almost full Strawberry Moon while out on the lake with plenty of time to paddle before the sun sets over the lakeside hills.

We’ll paddle to a lakeside spot for a strawberry tasting experience with locally grown strawberries from Gro-Moore Farms, build-your-own strawberry shortcake bar, strawberry prizes and surprises from local businesses including Three Heads Brewing strawberry lager and more + live music.

The Finger Lakes area is blessed with some of the most beautiful lakes in the world. To experience them from a kayak is to see, hear and feel the water in an intimate way. Canadice Lake is located 30 miles south of Rochester. Canadice is the smallest of the Finger Lakes and also the highest elevation. The lake is used as the fresh water source for Rochester, NY. Because of this, the area around the lake isn’t developed which adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the lake with tree-covered hillsides.
