Would you be able to give me a bit more info re the Couch to Summit event?
How is the training days broken down? Is it meeting a couple days/evenings each week locally to hike/train?
Which summit is the goal?
Hi Kate, The summit goal is a group camping trip in Aug. to ADK High Peaks. I’m going to have Pat, our outdoor expert, reply with info. about the training. He is leading Couch to Summit.

Thanks for reaching out and glad you’re interested in Couch to Summit!
Couch to Summit will be running on Monday evenings starting June 3 and running for 8 weeks. In our Monday session there will be a skills training component and a training hike. Classes typically run about 1.5 hours each week.
In addition, there will be optional suggested self-training hike each week. Certainly not mandatory, but are a good option that can be done around your schedule.
Following the 8 week session, we will be offering a trip to put all of this training into practice and climbing an Adirondack peak!

For the Couch to Summit class you said the training is on Mondays. What time and locations. Are they close to Rochester?

Yes, classes will be on Monday nights at 6:30pm in parks near Rochester. Once signups close, I’ll be selecting and posting each week’s location to best accommodate the group. Hope to see you out there!

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, it will be Mondays for this session of Couch to Summit. Tuesday may be an option for the next session of Couch to Summit in fall.
