Kick off the running season in Rochester with the popular Runnin’ of the Green, sponsored by Johnny’s Irish Pub. Starting a the War Memorial at the Blue Cross Arena, this 5 mile course takes you through the U of R campus and back again, for a flat, fast course and gentle down hill finish. And it’s always a surprise to see what the day will bring- 2 feet of snow or 70 and sunny, both conditions bringing their own kind of fun. Be sure to stay, or go home and shower and come back, for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade later in the day.
