EVENTS NOT TO MISSEastman House Sweet Creations Nov. 7 – Dec. 27, 2014 This popular holiday tradition returns for its 19th season. This presentation of dozens of cleverly designed and decorated gingerbread creations will be on view throughout the museum.

A beloved Rohester tradition returns to Geva Theatre Center on the Wilson Mainstage. A Christmas Carol, Dickens’ classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season.
The Nutcracker, Presented by The Rochester City Ballet and The RPO Nov. 28, 29 and 30, 2014 Rochester’s only full-length, live-music performance of this enchanting classic is a dazzling, heartwarming spectacle that will leave all ages delighted—a brilliant start to the holiday season.
Park Avenue Holiday Open House Dec. 4, 2014 5:00-9:00pm Stroll beautiful Park Avenue and enjoy the cheerful sight of lights sparkling on buildings, tree branches, bushes, and the light poles at major intersections. This evening of free entertainment, seasonal fun, and “open house” hospitality at more than 80 Park Avenue businesses.

New Year’s Eve At City Grill and Ballroom 384 Dec. 31, 2014 Starting at 5:00pm Celebrate the New Year at City Grill Rochester. Reserve your table for dinner only or all inclusive package. South Beach’s DJ Misha will be at the turn tables.
Mendon Ponds Park Winterfest Jan. 18, 2015 11:00am-4:00pm A fun-filled, free event about learning and trying out winter activities such as ice fishing, snowshoeing and ice boating. Geared towards families, but an enjoyable day for everyone no matter how cold or warm the weather. Most events do not depend upon snow cover.
2015 Chocolate Ball Feb. 7, 2015 Eat your desert before dinner! The Chocolate Ball, supporting Epilepsy-Pralid, attracts close to 500 guests who spend the evening tasting and bidding on award-winning chocolate cakes prepared by the area’s finest pastry chefs. It also includes dinner, dancing and enticing silent auction items.
