The Village Bakery is too delicious to only be in Pittsford. A second Village Bakery recently opened in the Culver Rd. Armory.

Food Truck Rodeo Last Wednesday of Every Month The Food Truck Rodeo brings our community’s eclectic array of mobile food stands together at the Rochester Public Market. The last date of the 2014 season is Oct. 29. It’s fun on four wheels with over 25 vendors serving up their unique cuisine on a paper plate.
Halloween Haunts and Things to Do
Oct. 18, 2014 Dress accordingly for this Halloween themed race or come out and cheer on your favorite goblin, geek, angel, cowboy or rock star. If you need a good laugh, this event is guaranteed. Only 500 runners will be allowed to register this year to keep it manageable.
Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 & 26 Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Zoo Boo at The Seneca Park Zoo is where families go to trick-or-treat!
Oct. 17, 18, 24 & 25 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Halloween headlamp tours on the haunted zip-lines and the eerie bridges on the summit of Bristol Mountain with aerial adventure courses, with 3 spooky (not scary) for ages 7 & up and 2 sc-aerial adventure fright courses not for the faint of heart!
Al Sigl Community of Agencies 2014 Walkabout Oct. 25 8:30 a.m. Walk, roll, and cheer for abilities at the 25th Annual Al Sigl Community WalkAbout to raise funds for Al Sigl Member Agencies serving over 50,000 children and adults with special needs!
Nightmare Manor of Greater Rochester Oct. 18-21 & 25-31 A full quarter mile of intense chills and thrills and is Western NY’s largest indoor Haunted House. The attraction is located in Southtown Plaza, 3333 W. Henrietta Road.
Haunted Hayrides of Greater Rochester in Williamson Oct. Thursdays-Sundays The Haunted Hayride is a 35-minute hay wagon through the woods of the De Fisher Fruit Farm with over 40 actors on hand to thrill and frighten you along the way. There’s also a Spinning Tunnel, a 3D Maze, a Screamatorium, the Hellevator, a chance to experience being Buried Alive and a Mummy Theatre. Activities scheduled during the event include special Family Fun Nights when the little ones can enjoy a ride; and Wagon Rides.
