Rooftop Holiday Party During the December Meteor Shower

Celebrate the holidays at the Strathallan Hotel during the most prolific meteor shower of the year. Toast the season with friends and celebrate the stars in the sky and the local shining stars that make our city the great place it is. We’re celebrating Rochester with local beer, wine, spirits, and local gift shopping experience. Enjoy tastings, a holiday cocktail bar, tarot readings (see what’s in the stars for the year ahead for you), delicious food, DJ Chreath, burlesque performance, giveaways from local businesses, and the best view in the city to watch the December meteor shower shoot across the Rochester sky, and share a toast overlooking the cityscape. The party is inside but outdoor fire pits will keep you warm while you watch the stars. Bring your favorite coat and get a professional photo taken with your friends or date under the stars. The Geminid Meteor Shower will be at its peak during the party with possible sightings around 120 meteors per hour.

To coincide with the party, we’re helping connect all of you who love supporting local with the best local gifts and holiday shopping specials. The A-List elves are busy adding gift recommendations in a 2023 Shop Local Rochester Gift Guide to make your shopping easy and fun. We’ll share giveaways at the party and on social channels from local businesses. Support them and keep your holiday shopping dollars local. One party guest will win an overnight getaway at Hotel Canandaigua in a 1 bedroom Lake View Suite (based on availability) with $75 food and beverage credit in the Cove Restaurant.

Tickets will be available Nov. 28th. Click on the word ticket above. Party tickets are $40, and $55 for VIP. VIP Tickets include a holiday swag bag filled with treats from local businesses, private bar, private seating area, raffle ticket for giveaways, advanced registration for photo outside and tarot reading. All party tickets include light bites of delicious party sliders and soup shooter hors d’oeuvres (guests will receive a tasting menu ticket to assure quantities are available).
