Trying Something New – Behind the Scenes with Amy

0

Hello, Amy here 👋

I’m trying something new. I am sharing a little behind the scenes to keep you in-the-know. With Rochester, NY getting cooler and cooler every day with more and more great things happening, this is my way to share more and give you a glimpse behind the curtain of A-List. I am sure our regular event attendees are wondering what’s next and what’s coming up. I’ve been hard-at-work reassessing goals and plans for A-List. As always, I would LOVE to hear from you if you have requests or interests you want to see in 2025 -more of this, a little of that, less of anything. We’re here for YOU so your opinion matters.

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately.
  • I have been exploring plans for Neighborhood Nosh in 2025. Expect this event series back and we’ll share more when the series frequency is ready to be confirmed. I’m also building an event team, so if you’re interested in collaborating, whether in social content, hosting, production, or anything else, please reach out. Let’s grab coffee and chat about how we can work together!
  • Had an amazing Italian meal at Joey’s Pasta House in Penfield. I was invited to a special event where I had the chance to try every single dish on the catering menu – talk about a dream come true. I joined a group of photographers and influencers, and we had such a fun time capturing the delicious dishes. The meal was one of the best I’ve had in a while, and you can catch some of the highlights on my Instagram. Stay tuned for the collab!
  • Attended my first Book Swap hosted by Sarah, the owner of Second Look Styling. Fellow readers brought a book to swap and shared a note about why they loved it. We each went home with a new book and a list of everyone’s favorite books. I was most excited about this list. Sarah is opening a brick-and-mortar store in the new year for second hand fashion, and there will be a used book shelf in the shop as well as more events to look forward to. Her events are so much fun.
  • Thursday, I went to X Golf in Pittsford for the preview opening event. Spoiler: it is now open and the place is awesome if you’ve never been to an X Golf. We tried the grilled cheese (awesome) and pretzels and dip (awesome). Our crew of golfers had a really great time.
