The 4th Annual From The Ground Fashion Show!

One of the highlights of the Greentopia Festival is the 4th Annual From The Ground Fashion Show.  This show is an audaciously unique runway fashion show that is wildly creative and inspiring, produced by Shawn Dunwoody and Agathi Georgiou.

Here is what to expect: From The Ground: Perspective of Time Fashion Show 2014 will attract 500+ guests this year; consisting of local designers, artists, creatives, thinkers, makers, and fashion enthusiasts. This celebration has grown in size every year and has been recognized as one of Rochester’s hottest annual events.

This year’s highly stylized production is inspired by the vivid imagery of the 1871 novel:  Through the Looking Glass, written by literary artist Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland).  Perspective of Time intends to test the form of ideas, space, time, and the concept of altering the perspective of our relationship within the Rochester community.

From The Ground: Perspective of Time will re-envision the High Falls parking garage into a Mad Hatter’s visual “underland” with birdcages, feathered wings, mushrooms, butterflies, towering heels, and a center tea party table runway.

From The Ground is making the celebration of creativity more fulfilling with the creation of a

Taste & Toast food and drink flavor garden. Prior to the show guests will come together to enjoy the rhythm of local music, the enticing aroma of Rochester’s notable food trucks and the blooming zest of the city’s favorite brews and spirits.
